Getting Things Done
My hubby loves a book by David Allen called Getting Things Done. It's helped him organize his office, and his massive e-mail inbox at work among other things. One of the principals is to make lists when you are busy so that you can get the things you need done off of your brain. Otherwise you supposedly stress yourself out by constantly thinking about them and trying to keep up with all of your mental bullet points. I can attest to this sort of brain buzz; I've got it going on right now! Since I would like to be able to sleep over the next week or so without my thoughts revving, I do believe it's time for a list...
