Man how time has been flying by. I can barely keep up anymore!
Eric, Chris, and I went to dinner last night at Chilis and then to see “Kiss Ass” at the theater. That movie was so not what I was expecting. I expected a cute funny movie about some loser kids pretending to be super heroes. I was NOT expecting graphic violence and gory blood. It was more like “Kill Bill” with an eleven year old assassin! It was good, but really kind of disturbing.
I don’t ever watch violent, scary, or bloody movies, which means I am not desensitized to this stuff! I had to cover my eyes a few times because I did NOT want to see what was about to happen. I do not like seeing someone’s head explode with a bullet, or the limbs getting chopped off. No SIR, NOT FOR ME.
Anyway, so in other news, I feel like a failure in the garden this season. I feel like I should have already started planting stuff. I’m going to try to get some stuff done this weekend, if it doesn’t rain. I think I’m going to rent a truck from U-Haul and go get some glass mulch for my front garden. I’m super excited about that!
I also need to plant some stuff in the pots in my backyard, mow the grass, pull weeds, and clean up a bit. I should work on cleaning out the garage while I’m at it, but only if I have extra time.
I’ve moved my blog over to a free site. I didn’t feel it was worth it to pay $100ish a year to host my own blog when they are places that do it for free. I’ll keep my domain name because that’s only $7ish a year. I’m trying to consolidate expenses.
I’ve put my Netflix on hold because I realized I wasn’t watching them enough. I’d get two DVD’s and have them for months. So why bother anymore? Once summer hits and there isn’t anything on TV, I’ll try to spend that time cleaning and organizing my house. There is PLENTY to do in there.
