Pulleys - The PERRIN Performance lightened crankshaft pulleys are precision engineered for each application to increase horsepower and torque. How are the up to 14 horsepower gains achieved? Made from 6061T6 billet aluminum and weighing in at only 1.2lbs, the PERRIN crank pulley is more then 4 lbs lighter then the stock crank pulley. That reduction is effectively the same as removing 100 pounds of weight from your vehicle! The weight comes right off of the crankshaft reducing the total rotating mass of the crank assembly, hence making it less work to turn. That means more power to the ground! The PERRIN crankshaft pulley is not under driven and will not affect the life of your engine, wear out engine bearings or the oil pump, and will not add any additional vibration or noise. It is a redesigned, fully balanced, lighter rendering of the stock crank pulley design. Some aftermarket, under driven crankshaft pulleys are prone to charging and drivability problems. This crank its very nice, fits pefect and add a litte power to the engine..! this is the secnd one i brought for the second wrx i owned, so i highly recomend this sweet modification which has no disadvantages.
